Srikanta M designs, builds and maintains Estimetra: the 15 calculators, the guides and the quote builder. This page explains what that covers, where the data comes from and how mistakes get fixed.
What the role covers, and what it doesn't
- Writes and maintains the formulas, calculation engines and guides.
- Does not sign off designs or structural calculations: Estimetra estimates quantities and costs; structural sizing and site supervision belong to a qualified professional.
- We don't publish years in the trade, qualifications or testimonials we can't prove.
How the calculations are built and checked
- Coverage rates, waste factors and sale formats come from manufacturer data sheets and are documented in Methodology.
- Every calculator publishes its formula, a worked numeric example and its assumptions.
- The engines are deterministic (no AI in the arithmetic) and covered by automated tests that run in continuous integration on every change.
- Every formula carries a version and verification date (v1.0.0, 2026-09-10); guides show their last-updated date.
External technical review
No outside professional has reviewed the calculations yet. When one does, their name, qualification and review date will appear here and on every guide and calculator they reviewed.
Corrections
Spotted a mistake? Email hola@estimetra.com with the calculator, your inputs and your source. We check it and, where needed, fix the formula and log the dated change in Methodology.
