FAQs

Valid for structural concrete?
Not as final dosage: get it from the engineer or the plant.
How much cement per cubic yard of concrete?
About 230 kg (≈510 lb, roughly 10 × 50 lb bags) at reference dosage. Design dosage comes from the engineer.
How much sand and gravel per yard?
About 0.6 m³ sand and 0.7 m³ gravel per m³ of concrete (≈0.6/0.7 yd³ per yd³), plus waste.
How many cement bags for 4 cubic yards?
4 yd³ ≈ 3.05 m³ → about 915 kg net: 37 × 25 kg bags, plus waste.
How much water per yard?
About 180 l per m³ (≈36 gal/yd³) as reference. Never a substitute for design dosage.
Can I get cubic yards and pounds?
Yes — switch to Imperial: 1 m³ shows as ≈1.31 yd³ and 300 kg of cement as ≈660 lb.
