FAQs
- How many litres for a 750 sq ft home?
- Measure wall m² first with the area calculator, then apply coverage × coats. US buckets are usually 5 gal (18.9 l).
- What price per m² should I set?
- Add material + labor + overhead + margin with the margin calculator; don't copy prices without your cost.
- What does it cost to paint a house?
- As a range: figure your gallons with the calculator and add labor per sq ft. See indicative prices.
- How is a paint job quoted?
- Wall area → gallons (coverage × coats) → buckets → labor → margin. From calculation to quote with no retyping.
- Ceilings and walls in one calculation?
- No: figure each surface separately when coats or paints differ.
- Asian Paints Tractor or Ace — which coverage?
- Use your bucket's data sheet: Tractor interior emulsion ≈140 sq ft/L (≈13 m²/L) per coat, Ace exterior ≈110 sq ft/L (≈10 m²/L). The calculator accepts any coverage you enter.
- How much paint for a 1–3 BHK flat?
- As a guide for 2-coat emulsion: 1 BHK ≈22–28 L, 2 BHK ≈35–42 L, 3 BHK ≈52–62 L. Always confirm by measuring wall area — layouts vary.
