Calculate labor, margin & tax

How it's calculated (visible formula)

paint: kg = area × 0.25 kg/m² × 2 coats; self-leveling: kg = area × thickness (mm) × 1.6 kg/m²·mm

See methodology and formula versions

How to calculate it, step by step

  1. Measure the slab area.
  2. Choose the system: epoxy paint or self-leveling.
  3. Work out resin by thickness or coats.
  4. Add primer and waste.
  5. Round up to kits.

Worked example: 430 sq ft garage, two-coat epoxy, 22 lb kits

  1. 40 m² × 0.25 × 2 = 20 kg
  2. +10% = 22 kg (48 lb)

→ 3 kits and 12 kg of primer.
