tiles = ceil(area ÷ tile × (1 + waste)); main runners ≈ 0.83 m/m²; hangers ≈ 0.7 per m²; cost = area × price

How to calculate it, step by step
- Measure the space and deduct columns or open areas.
- Choose tile size (2×2 or 2×4).
- Work out tiles with waste and grid per area.
- Work out wall angle and hanger wires.
- Multiply area by your installed price and add extras.
Worked example: 33 × 26 ft office, 2 × 2 tiles at $22/m²
- 80 m² ÷ 0.36 ≈ 222 → +5% = 234 tiles
- Cost: 80 × $22 = $1,760
→ $1,760, 234 tiles, 20 main runners and 56 hangers.
